The military family that owned this lovely home had received orders to move across the country. Since they wanted to buy a new home in their new city, that means that the realtor they hired needed to:
- Close on the sale of their previous home before they started making offers on a new home so that they would have the proceeds available and could make stronger offers that were not contingent on the previous sale. And
- Negotiate a leaseback from the Buyer so that they could continue living in the home until the day they would be moving.
After hiring me, the Sellers and I began to work right away on implementing my 10-Day Marketing Blitz and Home-Selling System. Once some repairs were completed, the home was professionally staged, and professional HD photos and video were captured, the home was ready to put on the market.
The first Saturday on the market, my Open House Event had over 100 total attendees! We received multiple offers above asking price over that first weekend, and after some negotiating, the home was sold in just 6 days for $20,000 over full price!
Needless to say, the Sellers were thrilled on the results and overjoyed that I was also able to secure the leaseback so that they could stay in their home until moving day.
